Twins Turbo is working on their next creation a twin turbo Viper. The Viper will hope to create 2,000 horsepower. To handle this kind of power Twins Turbo is having to strengthen the chassis a great deal. It seems this car is destined to do some racing laps. I can not wait to see how this turns out. No doubt this will be one of the most unique Vipers around.

Hennessey the masters of forced induction, is currently working on a Taurus SHO package. The current model is built on the Ecoboost platform which is a twin turbocharged V6 putting out 365 horsepower and 350 lb. ft. of torque. The first package includes upgraded exhaust, air filter, boost controller, boost gauge, turbos, intercooler, and suspension. Of course drivers can expect Hennessey to slowly push the platform and see how much horsepower they can get.
JUN apparently is trying to be the first company bringing a 1,000 HP GT-R to reality. I have no doubts someone will do it as I have said on this site plenty of times. The question is who will do it first? TopSpeed claims JUN is working on GT-R crankshaft, connecting rods, pistons and camshafts all machined from billet steel.

Even before the GT-R was released I knew people out were dreaming of reaching the 1K hp mark. Well it seems South Side Performance has a turbo upgrade kit which they claim is able to provide the amount of forced induction needed to reach 1,000 hp. The upgrade will cost you $7,199.00 and as SSP states current modded systems have reached 700 horsepower. The real question is what else will have to be upgraded on the factory drivetrain to handle 1K hp? I am very excited to see what will develop our of the GT-R community.
