9ff GT9-R has 1,120 Horsepower

Tuesday, November 18th, 2008

9ff’s newest supercar is their 1,120 horsepower GT9-R. The previous GT9 was set to hit 254.1 mph with only 910 horsepower. It is expected this version should be able to do a little better.

Dodge Turbo Caravan

Monday, November 17th, 2008

Here is proof again that you should never underestimate a vehicle that has a turbo in it. Some might know of the Dodge Caravan SE Turbo but I would suspect many average citizens would never know what this vehicle’s secret. The owner of this van is running 12’s in the quarter mile. Here is a video of it beating a Camaro.

9ff GTurbo 1000

Monday, November 10th, 2008

9ff has a proven track record with tuning Porsches and the GTurbo 1000 is one such monster. The number does means something, the car is roughly putting down close to 1,000 horsepower! It always amazes me how much power can put squeezed out of those flat six cylinder engines. The 9ff GTurbo 1000 is based off a 997 GT3 RS. The full conversion takes around four to six weeks. Many of the engine components have been upgraded to deal with the stress and heat. All that work allows it to do 0-186 mph in 18.1 seconds. I think the video below shows how fast this thing is.

Also check out some of its 750 hp smaller brother can do around Nürburgring.
