Wow Hyundai is deciding to really come out of the gate running. Just a few days ago Hyundai released full specs and prices on the Genesis Coupe and the race inspired R-Spec version. Now Hyundai has shown a prototype 4.6L Tau V8 with a roots supercharger delivering 460 horsepower and 435 lbs.-ft. of torque. The engine also has a clutched pulley system, water-to-air intercooler, and cylinder deactivation. I am very excited to see this in some type of Hyundai automobile. Someone needs to go take some measurements of that engine. I am sure someone is already making a home somewhere for one.

The Schwartz Performance Ultima GTR has won 31 1st place awards is different categories such a drag race, show, autocross, and road courses. This Ultima GTR has around 1,000 horsepower thanks to its twin turbo 6.0 liter LS6. Due to the light curb weight of the car was able to average around 23 mpg from 45K street driven miles.

Below is the video of Schwartz’s GTR in the Silver State Classic 2007. In the video you can see it go from 0-202.96 mph in 23.3 seconds and back to 0 mph in 12 seconds.
